In an interview with NBC News just two weeks before Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris voiced her worries about former President Donald Trump’s attempts to erode democracy. “We cannot allow Donald Trump to repeat his attempt to undermine a free and fair election,” Harris stated. Hence, it seems like Trump vs Kamala has just begun.
Kamala Harris aslo added: Donald Trump is the only person who tried to undo the will of the people. He also incited a violent mob to attack the US Capitol and the other 140 law enforcement officers were attacked and even some were killed. This is a very serious matter.
In an interview with NBC News, the Democratic presidential candidate pointed to Trump’s refusal to accept the 2020 election’s outcome and his role in the January 6th attack on the US Capitol, in which he refused to acknowledge defeat and promoted unfounded allegations of election fraud, as evidence of the serious threat he poses.
Donald Trump vs Kamala Harris
The USA vice president stated unequivocally that her team is prepared for any attempt by Donald Trump to declare victory before the results of the election are in. Harris promised, “We have the resources and the skills to focus on that, and we will deal with election night and the days after as they arrive.”
Harris has been increasing her media appearances in an attempt to win over more unsure voters as the 2024 election approaches in just two weeks.
Kamala Harris emphasized the seriousness of the situation for the American people as Trump persists in asserting—without proof—that the 2024 election might be rigged against him. “A very critical decision regarding the future of our country is just two weeks away,” she stated.
Kamala Harris is still focused on making sure the Democratic ticket wins fairly and decisively, even acknowledging the possible difficulties on election night. She confirmed, “We are focused on beating him first.”
Kamala added that Democrats possess the tools and legal expertise necessary to frustrate any attempts by Trump to declare victory too soon or tamper with the election process.
